The Ambient QP5100 QuickPole Series 5 bring together the best features of the QXS and QP series. For the QuickPole is uses specially developed carbon composite fibre with an additional layer of UHM fibres. Thanks to this technology, our QuickPole S5 is as stable as the QP 4-segment series and as light as the QXS 5-segment series. The innovative construction allows us to offer a further length: the QP5150 extends to over 6 meters. Ideal for every mobile use!

Light & Sturdy
Ambient’s Series 5 boom poles combine the best properties of the QXS and QP series thanks to their advanced tube technology. Using a custom-made carbon fiber compound with added UHM fiber layering, the QuickPole S5 boom poles are as sturdy as the QP 4-segment series yet as lightweight as the QXS 5-segment series. This new construction also enables the QP5150 model — a boom that extends to over 6 meters (20.99 ft) — offering a well-balanced, professional solution with no compromises.
Easy Extending and Collapsing
Speed matters on set, and Ambient’s Series 5 QuickPole delivers. A combination of a new Teflon sheet and silicone-lubricated felts ensures silky-smooth extending and collapsing. The telescoping function is fast and effortless, making it easy to position for any sound source. Re-engineered locks offer enhanced grip with refined knurling and slightly extended length. With improved threading, the locks open and close securely with just a quarter turn.
Intersectional Twist Protection
A newly developed anti-twist mechanism eliminates the need for a retention pin, replacing it with an innovative serration system. The lock pieces automatically align when disassembling and reassembling the pole for cleaning or maintenance — making an already easy process even more effortless.
Accessories
Ambient offers both internal coiled XLR cables for shorter models and straight cables for longer ones. The redesigned bottom end is available as an accessory and supports both straight and right-angle cable configurations. It is also compatible with older QuickPole models.
To protect the poles during transport, water-repellent nylon boom pole bags and robust PVC cases are available in sizes matching all six models. Additional accessories include the QuickLok, various clamps, and adapters.

These carbon fiber boom poles are ideal for audio professionals and boom operators who won’t settle for less than exceptional quality and convenience. Ambient offers the Series 5 in six lengths, with collapsed sizes ranging from 1.64 ft (50 cm) to 4.27 ft (150 cm) and extended lengths reaching from 6.4 ft (195 cm) to an impressive 20.99 ft (640 cm) — enough to span two stories.
