Do I need an antenna combiner?

You would use an antenna combiner when you have multiple transmitters and want to use a single antenna.
You would use an antenna distribution system when you have multiple receivers and want to use a single pair of antennas.
These devices can also be used together in a complex wireless audio setup. For example, you might use a distribution system to send signals from a pair of antennas to multiple wireless microphone receivers, and then use a combiner to combine the signals from multiple in-ear monitor transmitters into a single antenna. I need to combine antennas in multiple zones, can you advise?

What are the main challenges presented by RF Distribution?

The main challenges are interference and or poor antenna placement. With careful system design, using high quality components using the appropriate boosters and regular maintenance all the general issues can be avoided in the main.
