VDB XL-QT Extra Large Boom Pole
The VDB XL-QT Extra Large Boom Pole is the largest boom pole in VDB’s Quarter-Turn (QT) series, designed for situations demanding maximum reach.
Available Cabled or Un-Cabled
- Made from high modulus carbon fiber for a better compromise between lightness and strength
- 6-section design to achieve the greatest length and rigidity when extended, while reducing the size when folded
- “Quarter Turn” clamping system for locking your pole in a quarter turn
- Removable internal mono or stereo cable option, straight or angled output, for all models (wiring kit sold separately)
- Unparalleled longevity thanks to the replacement of all elements (tubes, clamping rings, etc.) in the event of damage to avoid the purchase of a new pole
- Removable “Quick Lock” type head screw ( TOP-SC-2 ) and standard heel ( 6-101 ) included ( 6-103 foam heel for L-QT & XL-QT models)
All these features allow the range to be limited to 6 models covering practically all the operators’ needs in terms of size while facilitating transport and storage.
An EXT extension completes the range.
The XL-QT model, due to its dimensions, is particularly suitable for feature films. Its lightness (690g) will allow the boom operator to move easily like a dancer during long takes.
