Frequently Asked Questions

Which Hollyland comms system is right for me?

Whether you’re working in film, broadcast, live events, or theatre, Hollyland offers a range of systems to suit different crew sizes and applications. From the lightweight Solidcom C1 Pro headset system to the highly scalable Solidcom H1 beltpack system, our team can help you choose the right solution for your needs.

Are Hollyland comms systems licence-free?

Yes. Hollyland comms systems operate on licence-free frequencies, meaning there’s no need to apply for or pay for an RF licence in the UK. This makes them a simple and cost-effective solution for professional productions.

How many users can a Hollyland comms systems support?

This depends on the system. The Solidcom C1 Pro supports teams of up to 8 users without a hub, with larger systems possible using hubs. The Solidcom H1 can scale from 20 beltpacks with a single ANT01, up to 80 beltpacks and 100 groups when used with the Geo Central Station.

Can Hollyland Systems work with existing intercom systems?

It depends on the system. The Solidcom H1 Geo Central Station supports Dante as well as standard 2-wire and 4-wire interfaces, making it easy to integrate with many existing wired intercom systems.

The Solidcom C1 Pro is a standalone wireless headset system designed for quick, simple deployment. While the C1 Pro Hub adds features such as grouping and system expansion, it is not designed to integrate with third-party Dante or wired intercom systems in the same was as the Solidcom H1.

Do you offer support and advice before purchasing?

Absolutely. Our team can advise on the best Hollyland system for your application, from small productions to large-scale events. We also provide product demonstration, technical support and after-sales assistance to help you get the most from your system.
