Wisycom PFL Portable RF over Fibre Box
The Wisycom PFL Portable RF over Fibre Box is engineered for long-distance RF signal transport in broadcast, film and live production where coaxial cable is impossible.
Three versionas are available:
- F1M2: F1 Filter, Mux of RF
- F1M0: F1 Filter, No Mux of RF
- M5L: Mux of RF + Data + Ext. Source (400-700 MHz)
Operating in single-mode fibre, it preserves signal integrity over extended runs with minimal loss. A wide dynamic range and low-noise design ensure clear, interference-free performance.
The box is available in two configurations: one for transmitting two RF channels in isofrequency over fibre (PFL-R2), and one for receiving two diversity channels (PFL-T2).
Battery power via standard V-Lock allows installation even in challenging locations where mains power is not available. DC power supply is also included where the battery power can work as a backup.
Internal ventilation is ensured by a large internal fan with speed control based on an internal temperature sensor, providing effective cooling even when the box is placed in direct sunlight.
Thefibre can be easily connected inside the box thanks to the side hole, and the pre-arranged fastening and protection system ensures risk-free connection. External connection is also available via the robust OpticalCON Duo connector.®
