Zaxcom QRX300 ZHD48 Receiver

The Zaxcom QRX300 ZHD48 Receiver is a special order receiver dedicated to receive a single channel of ZHD48 modulation.
The receiver has very narrow filters that allow for a 50 KHz wide signal to be received with a channel spacing as close as 100 KHz.

The QRX300 is designed specifically for applications where limited spectrum bandwidth is available and a large number of wireless microphones need to be used together and a latency of 18 milliseconds is not a concern. This unit can only receive ZHD48 modulation. It is not compatible with XR, US Mono or ZHD96.

The QRX300 is 200 MHz wide. A tunable tracking front end filter is featured in the QRX300 so you can receive any frequency in any block from 20 through 27 or 512 – 698 MHz while still filtering out unwanted RF.

Receives one channel of 100% digital audio. The QRX300 outputs audio as an analog signal or as an AES digital signal.

ZHD Modulation
ZHD is Zaxcom’s High Density modulation mode that will allow up to ten channels of wireless to be operated in just one MHz of spectrum space. ZHD is standard in the ZMT3, TRXLT3, TRXLA3, TRXFB3 and TRX743.

Key Features:
• A single 6 MHz American television channel can contain up to sixty channels of ZHD wireless when used with a QRX300 receiver spaced 100 kHz
• The wireless signal is only 48 KHz wide and frequencies can be spaced as close as 100 kHz apart
• RF transmitter power is adjustable up to 100 mW on TRXLA3 & TRX743
• Incredible transmission distance due to ZHD’s highly efficient modulation
• Transmitters are available as 3.5 (518 – 614 MHz) and 3.6 (596 – 698 MHz)

TRXLT3, TRXLA3, ZMT3, TRXFB3 and TRX743 transmitters are capable of running either ZHD modulation or any existing mono modulations so they maintain compatibility with all Zaxcom receivers. ZHD modulation mode conforms to all currently proposed FCC regulations for spectrally efficient wireless transmission.

ZHD96 modulation works in single or dual mode on all current QRX200 series receivers.
ZHD48 modulation works in single mode only with the QRX300 receiver.

Frequency spacing:

ZHD modulation with QRX300 – 10 frequencies per MHz – 60 per TV channel
ZHD modulation with QRX200, QRX235, RX200, QRX212 – 5 frequencies per MHz – 30 per TV channel
Current XR modulation with QRX200, QRX235, RX200, QRX212 – roughly 2.5 per MHz – 15 per TV channel

Returns Policy:

Not happy with your purchase?
Don’t worry, you can return goods ordered from us at any time within 14 working days of receipt for a full refund or for an exchange for a different product. Before returning any items, notify us so we know what to expect.
All we ask is that you return the items to us in the same condition that we supplied them to you. Please package the items up securely and safely so that they are not damaged during transit. Uuse the original delivery packaging where possible.

We strongly recommend using a recorded or tracked delivery service. Please send the return items to:

Returns of an order for a refund or an exchange:

  • Cost of return – The costs of returning goods to Raycom shall be borne by you, the customer, in all circumstances without exception, unless otherwise agreed upon with Raycom.
  • Loss & damage – Return items must be packed suitably and insured against the event of loss in transit. Raycom Ltd will not be responsible for lost or damaged returned goods. Lost or damaged goods may affect the level of refund on equipment.
  • Delivery costs – The original postage and packaging costs will not be refunded under any circumstances unless agreed with Raycom Ltd
  • Upon receipt of the goods, to Raycom Ltd, and with prior arrangement, we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required and agreed

The right to return goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:

  • in the event that the product has been used, in any way, shape or form, other than limited useage when the goods are unpacked
  • in the case of software, audio or visual products, where the packaging has been unsealed, broken or is incomplete
  • to any products that we have made on special order and or customised specifically for you

Cancelling an order:

In accordance with the distance selling regulations, any order with us can be cancelled before we have dispatched your items. In this instance, we will refund you in full using the chosen payment method. Terms for our cancellation and returns policy.

  • Notify us by email at sales@raycom.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you, or
  • where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with our returns policy
