Schoeps CCM 2 Compact Microphone with Options
Schoeps CCM 2 Compact Microphone with Options – constructed as single-diaphragm transducers, all Schoeps omnidirectional microphones and capsules are – can be considered optimal due to their excellent reproduction of low frequencies and extremely low noise (with SCHOEPS as low as 11 dB(A)). The various types differ in the extent of their high-frequency response elevation, which compensates for the high-frequency losses in the diffuse sound field. Thus we offer both “free field equalized” and “diffuse field equalized” transducers as well as two in-between types.
As can be seen from the frequency response curve, this microphone type has flat frequency response for frontal sound incidence. This yields a very natural quality when picking up sound that is predominantly direct, i.e. close to the source or in a ”dry” acoustic. The sonic impression never becomes overly brilliant or ”sharp.”
- Linear frequency response
- Corrected for the direct sound field
- For use close to the sound source (frontal sound incidence)
- Preferred applications: close pickup of singers and instruments
WARRANTY TERMS – Extend to 10 Years!
Schoeps offer a two-year manufacturer’s warranty on all microphone capsules (MK), microphones (e.g. CMIT, CCM) and microphone amplifiers (CMC). By registering the products on their Web site here, the warranties of capsules, microphones and amplifiers can be extended to ten years. This extension of warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
The warranty applies to new items only, based on their date of first purchase. They have to be purchased after September 1, 2019 and registered within one year after purchase. However, Schoeps reserves the right to restrict the warranty if significantly more than two years have elapsed between the date of sale to the dealer and the date of sale to the customer.
During the warranty period, Schoeps guarantee that the product will work properly in the sense of normal use, unless it has been handled improperly. Signs of heavy wear, deposits of dirt or significant liquid residues void the warranty.
