Radius RAD Shock Mounts
The Radius RAD Shock Mounts suspension provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming.
All of the components are produced using virtually indestructible thermoplastic elastomers from high-precision injection moulding in an ISO-9000 certified factory. The RAD Shock Mounts are made in England.
RAD-1 Shock Mount:
The RAD-1 Shock Mounts are designed to be used with short shotgun and small condenser pencil microphones (super-cardioid, cardioid and omni). This suspension provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming. The mount has soft-coated universal mic clips to fit any mic 19-25mm in diameter.
Each mount includes a pair of standard firmness hoops (black) and a pair of softer hoops (light blue) — so you can get the best isolation for your style of booming. The base of this mount comes with a 360-degree rotatable XLR holder and 3/8 thread to use on boom poles, stands or with quick-connect attachments.

- Suitable primarily for indoor use or outdoors with no winds when using the mic by itself or the mic with only a foam windscreen

RAD-2 Shock Mount:
The RAD-2 Shock Mounts are designed for for use with standard length shotgun microphones and small condenser pencil microphones with slide-on fur windshields on the front. It provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming. The mount has soft-coated universal mic clips to fit any mic 19-25mm in diameter.
Each mount includes a pair of standard firmness hoops (black), a pair of softer hoops (light blue) and a pair of extra firm hoops (dark blue). The RAD-2 hoops are slightly thicker than RAD-1 hoops and have an extra 3mm of bracing on top to hold the extra weight of front-heavy microphones.

RAD-3 Shock Mount (Pistol Grip Handle)
The RAD-3 Shock Mounts are designed for for use with standard length shotgun microphones and small condenser pencil microphones with slide-on fur windshields on the front. The RAD-3 mounts provide the same isolation and support as the RAD-2, but come with a pistol grip handle instead of a boom adaptor. It provides exceptional isolation from movement, handling noise and other vibrations associated with booming. The mount has soft-coated universal mic clips to fit any mic 19-25mm in diameter.
Each mount includes a pair of standard firmness hoops (black), a pair of softer hoops (light blue) and a pair of extra firm hoops (dark blue). The RAD-3 hoops are slightly thicker than RAD-1 hoops and have an extra 3mm of bracing on top to hold the extra weight of front-heavy microphones.
