Ambient Lockit+ Timecode and Sync Generator

The Ambient Lockit+ combines state of the art, high-accuracy Ambient Lockit Timecode and Sync technology with advanced metadata management options to improve your workflow between set and editing.

The Lockit+ is designed to serve different situations on set or in the studio. With the Standard Extension it can be elegantly operated both from the sound cart and sound bag. In future there will be different extensions available.

The built-in server spans a local WiFi, giving users browser-based access to all the Lockit+ features via mobile device or computer. The web interface gives access to advanced generator settings and monitoring of all Lockit devices within the ACN.

While the front of the Lockit+ offers the same two outputs you know from the Lockit (Blue TC & ACN Connector / Yellow TC & Sync Connector) – the Standard Extension provides additional connections for different setups. In total the Lockit+ with Standard Extension has:

  • 2x Blue TC & ACN Connector
  • 1x Yellow TC & Sync Connector
  • USB-A connector (Frequency Scanning Antenna)
  • USB-C connector (Camera Metadata / Powering)
  • USB-C connector for Midi TC
  • Hirose (Powering)

Plug the separately available antenna into a USB port of the Lockit+ to perform a full frequency scan. In the web interface you get concrete suggestions for available frequencies for your transmitters and receivers.

The Lockit+ stores key Cooke /i lens metadata frame-accurately in an open file format – at the same time it makes the data accessible live via WiFi or Ethernet.

The Lockit+ can extract technical metadata from compatible cameras to broadcast it via WiFi to the Ambient LockitScript App for script supervisors.

The Lockit+ can be powered by 6 to 24 Volts DC via a Hirose 4-pin connector or via the USB-C socket. It is also possible to run the Lockit+ only with the two included BX1 batteries. In basic operation the batteries will last for up to 4 hours.

Returns Policy:

Not happy with your purchase?
Don’t worry, you can return goods ordered from us at any time within 14 working days of receipt for a full refund or for an exchange for a different product. Before returning any items, notify us so we know what to expect.
All we ask is that you return the items to us in the same condition that we supplied them to you. Please package the items up securely and safely so that they are not damaged during transit. Uuse the original delivery packaging where possible.

We strongly recommend using a recorded or tracked delivery service. Please send the return items to:

Returns of an order for a refund or an exchange:

  • Cost of return – The costs of returning goods to Raycom shall be borne by you, the customer, in all circumstances without exception, unless otherwise agreed upon with Raycom.
  • Loss & damage – Return items must be packed suitably and insured against the event of loss in transit. Raycom Ltd will not be responsible for lost or damaged returned goods. Lost or damaged goods may affect the level of refund on equipment.
  • Delivery costs – The original postage and packaging costs will not be refunded under any circumstances unless agreed with Raycom Ltd
  • Upon receipt of the goods, to Raycom Ltd, and with prior arrangement, we will give you a full refund of the amount paid or an exchange credit as required and agreed

The right to return goods to us will not apply in the following circumstances:

  • in the event that the product has been used, in any way, shape or form, other than limited useage when the goods are unpacked
  • in the case of software, audio or visual products, where the packaging has been unsealed, broken or is incomplete
  • to any products that we have made on special order and or customised specifically for you

Cancelling an order:

In accordance with the distance selling regulations, any order with us can be cancelled before we have dispatched your items. In this instance, we will refund you in full using the chosen payment method. Terms for our cancellation and returns policy.

  • Notify us by email at sales@raycom.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods to you, or
  • where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in accordance with our returns policy
