Hollyland Unveils the Solidcom H1 at IBC 2025, Ushering in a New Era of Wireless Communication

Amsterdam, IBC 2025 – The floor of Europe’s premier media, entertainment, and technology event was buzzing this morning as Hollyland officially launched its latest innovation: the Solidcom H1. Designed to push the boundaries of wireless intercom technology, this new system has been engineered with scalability, reliability, and simplicity at its core.

Announced before lunchtime on Day 1 of the show, the Solidcom H1 signals a major step forward in Hollyland’s mission to make high-performance communication solutions more financially accessible, flexible, and future-proof for professionals across the broadcast, film, theatre, event, and production industries.

Longtime UK distributor Raycom has once again secured distribution rights, bringing the highly anticipated product to a market already eager to adopt it.

Once again, based on robust 1.9 GHz DECT 6 technology, the Solidcom H1 is designed for both compact teams and massive production crews. At its core, it offers a flexible, modular approach to building a comms network that adapts to your exact workflow—whether that’s a 5-person film shoot or an 80-person live event crew.

In standalone mode, users can operate up to 20 wireless belt packs without the need for a central base station. Up to three ANT01 aerials can be linked to achieve support of up to 50 belt packs in full-duplex or 30 belt packs with full roaming capability.

For larger, more complex operations, the system can be paired with the Geo Central Station, enabling support for up to 80 belt packs and an amazing array of connectivity including Dante. Even at this scale, there are no licence fees, no hidden costs, just plug-and-play simplicity. Inclusion of the GEO Central Station makes the H1 one of the most versatile systems in its category.

Solidcom H1: Massive Coverage, Minimal Hassle

Hollyland’s engineers have prioritised range and reliability without sacrificing ease of use. A single H1 ANT01 aerial provides up to 500 metres line-of-sight omnidirectional wireless coverage. That alone is impressive. But with up to eight ANT01 units deployed in a roaming-cascaded configuration, using Cat6 connection between ANT01s, users can potentially blanket areas of up to 8 sq km—with uninterrupted, stable communication.

This level of wireless deployment is ideal for multi-venue events, outdoor broadcasts, sprawling film sets, or any situation where team members are constantly on the move across large zones.

Solidcom H1 Lightweight Hardware, Heavyweight Performance

The H1 BPK01 beltpack is designed with mobility in mind. Weighing in at just under 305 grams, including the battery, it’s compact enough to clip onto a belt or hang comfortably from a lanyard. Yet despite its small size, it delivers up to 15 hours of continuous operation—enough to handle full-day shoots or long event cycles without a battery swap.

The device also supports true wireless audio, thanks to its built-in Bluetooth module, which allows users to pair with TWS earbuds or over-ear Bluetooth headsets. It offers cable-free communication at its most practical.

Adding to its user-friendliness, each belt pack features four fully customisable buttons, which can be assigned to various tasks—from talking across multiple groups to sending call alerts, all in one press. Each button can support up to four stacked actions, giving users the flexibility to tailor comms to their specific roles or responsibilities.

Solidcom H1 Smarter Grouping. Smarter Control

One of the biggest strengths of the H1 system is its intuitive group management features. In standalone mode, users can create and manage up to 12 communication groups, giving small and mid-sized teams just the right level of separation and control.

With addition of the H1 Central Station, that number jumps to over 100 independent groups, all configurable, storable, and deployable at scale. This is a major advantage for rental houses, live production companies, and system integrators supporting multiple events or clients.

Role-based configuration further simplifies setup. Whether assigning channels for Directors, Camera Operators, or Gaffers, roles can be pre-set and applied to belt packs with one-click batch configuration—cutting setup time and reducing human error.

Solidcom H1 Cloud Communication and Remote Management

In today’s decentralised world, remote access is no longer optional—it’s essential. The H1 offers two flexible cloud connection modes:

• With H1 Central Stations: Up to 8 ANT01 units can be cascaded over the internet, creating a cloud-based intercom network for up to 80 users.
  
• Without a central station: Even in standalone mode, up to 3 ANT01 units can be linked via the internet to enable cloud communication for up to 30 belt packs.
  

Teams can manage system settings via browser or through the HollyVox App on PC or mobile, using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Firmware updates and belt pack pairing can be handled effortlessly by connecting the charging base to ANT01, streamlining both deployment and maintenance.
